CE 92 N8 Fiberglass Polyester Resin is a general-purpose orthophthalic polyester resin developed for fiberglass-reinforced composite manufacturing. With its light yellowish and semi-transparent appearance, it is widely used in automotive components, water tanks, modular cabins, boats, pool filters and industrial glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) applications.

Instructions for Use

At an ambient temperature of 20–25°C, first add 0.2% by weight of 6% cobalt accelerator and mix thoroughly for 2–3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Then add 1–2% MEK-P hardener and continue mixing for another 2–3 minutes.

Fillers and Coloring

• Recommended filler ratio: Up to 10–15% by weight.
• Compatible fillers: Calcite, talc and dolomite.
• Coloring method: Can be pigmented using pigment paste.

Fillers must be completely dry before use. The hardener should always be added after the filler has been mixed into the resin.

Storage Conditions

Because polyester resins contain styrene, the product should be stored between 18°C and 26°C, away from direct sunlight and in tightly sealed containers. Exposure to air after opening may reduce the shelf life of the product.

Safety Warning

Always use separate containers and mixing sticks for cobalt accelerator and MEK-P hardener. These chemicals can become flammable and explosive when mixed together in their pure form.
